      Hi Laura, 

      If you can change your password do it right away – and check that no emails have gone out, if they have them send an email saying they were fake but you are fixing it. 

      Then do a full system scan, just to be sure.

    This has been going on for years, and some get many of them per week.  I’ve been dutifully clicking the “mark as phishing scam” button for as long as its been there, and the hotmail password phishing spam has only increased.  I’m convinced that these reports go straight into the bit bucket.  Hotmail could easily do something to either filter these out at the server, or make life difficult for the scammers, but Microsoft can’t be bothered.

      I haven’t seen one for a long time, but then maybe I just don’t take any notice.  Most of the spam does go into my spam folder, so at least Microsoft do that, but something a bit more needs to be done really.
